Commentary

Commentaries are short, narrowly focused articles that present in-depth analysis of new developments in virtual learning and educational technologies. This category is for those authors who have non-research-based information and wish to share them with the journal’s readership. They will have the opportunity to submit essays, trends, opinions, critiques and viewpoints on a wide range of topics within the journal’s scope.

The format of a commentary should be as follows:

  • Abstract: (100-200 words, without subheadings)
  • Keywords (3-10 keywords)
  • Main Text (2000 words)
  • Conflict of Interest
  • Funding/Support
  • References (Vancouver style)

A commentary includes a maximum of 2500 words (including references), 3 tables/illustrations, and 30 references.
